Chair of Public Investments

As Chair of Public Investments, Bill is actively involved in leading, developing and implementing investment strategies on behalf of Soltis’ individual and institutional clients. Prior to joining Soltis in 2014, Bill was Senior Vice President and Regional Portfolio Manager at Key Private Bank. Bill’s investment career spans 40 years where he managed investment portfolios for private clients, corporations, foundations, and endowments. Bill has an extensive background in asset allocation decisions and is expert in the various asset classes investors commonly use to meet their investment goals.

 Bill earned both a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Master of Economics from the University of Utah. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1996 through the CFA Institute and is a current member of the CFA Institute. Bill has had the opportunity to serve on a variety of boards and committees including the Utah Money Management Council, Boys and Girls Clubs of Salt Lake, Utah Retirement Systems (URS) Board and is past President of the URS board.

He and his wife, Jennifer, are the parents of three daughters and reside in Salt Lake City.
