After graduating from Brigham Young University with a Master of Business Administration in 1979, Wayne DeMeester began a successful career in the financial services industry that spanned nearly three decades. He spent 16 years with Wachovia Securities, which is today owned by Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC. As Wachovia’s Managing Director of Corporate and Executive Services in the Seattle, Washington, area, Wayne DeMeester managed a four-person team dedicated to advising high-net-worth clients on sound investment strategies that emphasized the prudent allocation of assets to minimize market risk. His efforts on behalf of his clients earned him Gold Level recognition from Wachovia’s Chairman’s Circle of Excellence. Wayne DeMeester also received his Certified Investment Management Analyst certification from The Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania.
In 2010, Wayne DeMeester joined KBR Capital Partners, Inc., as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets. Working within KBR’s New York-based Private Equity division, he led seminars to educate accredited investors about the complexities of private placements. He also assisted individuals seeking returns from alternative investments, such as commercial real estate, which provided growth opportunities beyond those available from traditional asset allocation models. His expertise in real estate investments led to his recruitment by RSS & Company, LLC, an Arizona-based private equity firm that specializes in real estate investing and analysis.
A loyal alumnus of Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management, Wayne DeMeester remains active both in the life of the school and the BYU Management Society. He is a past President of the Seattle chapter of the BYU Management Association, a former member of the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities, and a past President of the Seattle Executives Association.
