M&A and Partnerships

Jeff joined Soltis in March 2025 to help lead the company’s inorganic growth efforts. With extensive experience from his time at Carson Group, Jeff spent 8 years playing a key role in the firm’s external M&A efforts, contributing significantly to its growth. During his tenure, Carson saw remarkable expansion, growing from $5B in AUM to just under $45B, driven by a combination of both organic and inorganic growth, before Jeff’s departure.

Before his time at Carson, Jeff supported two Wealth Advisors at a local bank in Omaha, Nebraska, within their wealth management division. Initially pursuing a career as an advisor himself, Jeff soon identified a gap in advisor succession planning, which led him to spearhead a project connecting local and regional advisors in search of succession opportunities. This experience ignited his passion for mergers and acquisitions, which has become a central focus of his career.

Jeff is an All-American college hockey player from St. Olaf College, where he met his wife, Deanne. Together, they have two wonderful children, Avery and Levi. Jeff holds an MBA from Midland University and enjoys golfing, playing hockey, and vacationing with his family in his spare time. He is also dedicated to helping with FCA hockey, where he serves on the board. Above all, Jeff strives to be known as a Christian first, a loving husband second, and a great father third.
