As Chair of Public Investments, Bill plays a pivotal role in spearheading, formulating, and executing investment strategies for Soltis’ diverse clientele, encompassing both individual and institutional sectors. With a rich background in investment management spanning over four decades, Bill brings a wealth of experience to his role. Prior to joining Soltis in 2014, he served as Senior Vice President and Regional Portfolio Manager at Key Private Bank, where he directed investment portfolios for a wide spectrum of clients, including private individuals, corporations, foundations, and endowments.
Bill’s expertise lies in asset allocation decisions, and he possesses an in-depth understanding of the various asset classes essential for achieving investors’ financial objectives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Economics from the University of Utah. Furthermore, Bill earned the esteemed Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1996 from the CFA Institute, underscoring his commitment to excellence in the field of investment management. He remains an active member of the CFA Institute.
Throughout his career, Bill has actively contributed to various boards and committees, including the Utah Money Management Council, Boys and Girls Clubs of Salt Lake, and the Utah Retirement Systems (URS) Board, where he served as President. He and his wife, Jennifer, are proud parents to three daughters and currently reside in Salt Lake City.
