Shelby Gardner joined Soltis in 2026 and currently serves as a manager in the tax division. She focuses on client tax planning and compliance, working with advisors to develop tax efficient investment strategies and prepare for tax obligations.
Shelby studied accounting at Brigham Young University, where she discovered a love for tax as a VITA volunteer. She graduated with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting, with an emphasis in taxation for the latter. She began her career with Deloitte in Seattle, where she earned her CPA designation, before joining GDM Private Financial Solutions.
When she isn’t working, Shelby enjoys being outside hiking, biking, and paddleboarding. When the weather doesn’t allow for such things, she enjoys reading, writing, and board games. Inside or outside, she loves spending time with her friends and family and serving in her community.
