Sydney Olson joined Soltis as a Wealth Management Analyst in April 2026 after graduating cum laude from Northwestern University with a major in Economics and minors in Music and Religion. During her time as a student, she gained industry experience through internships at two independent advisory firms in central Illinois.
Based in the Oak Brook, IL office, Sydney supports advisors on the Midwest Team by assisting with financial analysis, portfolio research, and the preparation of client materials, helping to deliver personalized solutions to clients. Driven by a desire to empower families to achieve their goals through thoughtful and strategic financial planning, Sydney plans to pursue her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification and become an advisor herself.
When she’s not working, Sydney enjoys reading, trying new restaurants in Chicago, spending time with her boyfriend, and visiting friends, family, and pets in her hometown of Urbana, IL. Sydney is also passionate about music; she plays piano and guitar, and was a member of the Northwestern Undertones a cappella group.
